In 1984. the city of Yellowknife celebrated it’s 50th anniversary with a homecoming celebration and an album of music, poetry, and spoken word which I mixed and produced.
Mt first album Roll Me a Dream… was at Richard Harrow’s LivingRoom Studios in Calgary and was released June 21, 1983 the opening day of the 3rd annual Folk on the Rocks Festival in Yellowknife.
Commissioned for Bruce Valpy’s Hornby, the 1st northern-written play staged at Yellowknife’s Northern Arts and Cultural Centre (NACC).
In May of 1986, architect Bing Thom commissioned me to compose ambient music to complement the space he had designed for the NWT pavilion at Expo ’86 in Vancouver.
